I know this is not common on turbocharged engines, but has anyone ever tried those? Maybe on a TD?
My friend just bought stock BMW M5 individual throttle bodies, and he's just using 4 of them, so i could have the other 4. :thumb:

Is it worth a try if we can make a nice head to throttle body adapter/tubing?
Or would it be worthless, because of our poor flowing head?

any (theoretical) opinions?

Warren Stramer made a nice ITB setup on his laser.

I saved some pics when he posted them

They are pretty sweet. Throttle response as to be pretty awesome. I would make the plenum as big as possible though.

That is awesome. I wonder how he got the electrical end of things working?

For those who have never seen Warrens car. Bad MF doesn't even do it justice. It has the kind of attention to detail you see on top end show cars and it hauls some A$$ to boot. Beautiful car and a great guy to talk to if you get a chance. You should also see the stainless header he made. It looks too good to use on a car.

hm
i see warren is using the lower piece of the 2piece intake below the ITB's. Is there anyplace just to get the intake flange for fabricating a custom lower piece?
Problem is that those M5 TB's aren't round in shape, but some kind of oval .. hmm... we'll post pics when they arrive

You could take a stock two piece gasket to any machine shop and they should be able to mill you a flange to work with.

Warren, did you end up finalizing the header by now? I'm curious what/if you did anything as far as bracing. Good to see you around here!
