I have a stock 782 head here, it got a little hot a few months ago in a fire. I don't trust it, I think it got warped from the heat, so I stripped the valve train out of it, except for the springs, valves, retainers, and plugs, and I was going to cash it in for scrap. But I felt that it could go to a much better cause. If anybody wants to use for practice on porting or such.

It weighs about 30lbs. Just pay for the shipping.

Pics? how hot did it get? Do the valve seals look like burnt puddles? ;)

Really this is the only okay pic I have of it.

I don't know how hot the fire got. I'm assuming it was well over 1,500*F in the engine bay. I know house fires exceed 2,000*F.

I didn't get a real good chance to check over the valve seals. It is rather expensive to ship, so I just wanted to see if anybody wanted something for practice. I'll take it to the yard tomorrow.

Take it to a machine shop and have them look at it, Im sure with a decking and a crack check it shouldnt be too expensive
