I've been there quite a few times, but never in the Jeep. I always take my Polaris because it is smaller and more manuverable. (I love devil's backbone) :eyebrows:

Have you got any type of lockers in the axles, or open diffs? What was the tow strap hooked to, another Jeep? :ballchain:
That is some serious mud. It's always like that in the spring and fall, and a dust bowl in the summer! 4 wheelin is awsome!

It is a 4.5 RE super flex lift in the front with 2 inch coil spacers, 5 inch 10 leaf pack national leaf spring with 2 inch steel block in the rear, locker in the d35 in the rear, 1 inch t-case lowering block and 34x10.5 super swamper ltbs. I will be doing a long arm conversion this spring to the front and a sye as well. I want gears for it but I'm not going to waste any more money on the dana 35 or 30. Once the axles break I will upgade them with gears and lockers front and rear.

I have been to aspen many times with both dune buggy's and quads. Anybody ever been to s-tree towers, or Daniel Boone? We have a cabin which is right on the edge of Daniel Boone we can ride all weekend and never cross the same trail twice!

Anybody ever been to s-tree towers, or Daniel Boone? We have a cabin which is right on the edge of Daniel Boone we can ride all weekend and never cross the same trail twice!

I go to Daniel Boone more than Asspen Acres. The only thing I don't like about going there is the local DNR guys! We've been hastled a couple of times by them. :nod:

BTW... I grew up around Dayton, OH (Englewood) My parents & brother still live there, so I'm down there quite a bit in the summer. He's selling his TJ and getting out of the off roading scene. :( He's got a yellow 2000 TJ (Sport, 4.0L/ 5spd, with Dana 44 rear)
