View Full Version : Sunfire and Minivan Rematch.

My friends 03' sunfire was working bad for the first race we had a couple months ago.. so when he came up this weekend I went over his car. Air filter was plugged,sparkplugs were misfiring so bad that there was carbon buildup on the plugs. Also run a couple cans of intake cleaner through it. Stuff looked clean after that.

So anyways.. here goes. My mini's mods are, garret T1 turbo and DIY P&P head.

Hahhaha, thats awesome. Wish we had roads like that around here, :(

You need MORE BOOST and a better exhaust and you'll kill him even worse, :thumb: :partywoot:

yah the factory muffler is killn my top end. Also doesent the stock SMEC limit the amount of time max boost is allowed? backs it off to 5psi or something after a bit?

Its supposed to hit 11 psi at wot and keep it lower at lower speeds, rpm to help the trans live. I have been told that this scaling works sometimes on some cars/vans.

Supose to yah. I havent had a 2.5L T1 YET to hit 11psi. 9psi is the highest I have ever seen. 7.5psi constant

Thanks man. I know my van is pretty slow in the TD world so I try to make my video compositions as interesting as I can.
