Do you guys make an aluminum mandrel intercooler kit in 2-1/2" or even 3" ?

Thanks!

Amen.

I bought the mild steel 3 inch super intercooler kit and was completely and totally satisfied. Did so before Racing Solutions was offering the aluminized 3 inch exhaust kits. Used the "intercooler bends" to make the bend around the shifter in my L body and to take the exhaust over the axle.

I'm ready to step up to 3 inch IC pipes for a triple core FMIC. I do not want steel or even stainless steel.

Please consider at least one 3 inch kit in aluminum - "sold."

Also, can you roll some beads on a few pieces? Even if I have to weld a stub onto another section to get a bead.

Also, I would buy thick wall (.120ish) tight radius bends/castings to use in fabricating connections to custom IC plenums.

We are going to be offering 2.5" and 3.0" aluminum bends in December.

Cool. I have used mandrel bent aluminum for all the intake plumbing on my SL and GLH and it was very easy to work with and fit to the car. VERY light too! Another thing I like is that it looks good, even with a raw matte finish. I have had the aluminum pipes in my Omni for over two years and it looks just as good as the day I installed it. I'll have to give you guys a call when I upgrade the intercooler on my Spirit R/T.

Definately sweet. Aluminum is so much easier to work with. It's officialy December, so Mr. Ancey here wants to know what the kits are like. :)

2.0" and 2.5" Aluminum Bends are now up. We ended up purchasing a huge heat treating machine to anneal them for bending. Since we stopped having to send out the heat treating, aluminum isn't a problem anymore.

Can you do 2.75"aluminum IC builder kits? The intercooler I have uses 2.75" I/O and I'd really like to stick with that size for the plumbing.

Hmm...I wonder what that intercooler is?

But yeah, I'm wondering if they go 2-3/4 or 3" as well.

Yep, another NPR setup in the works for me. ATP wants $32 for each 45' or 90' bend in 2.75" mandrel bent aluminum! If Racing Solutions can do 2.75" or 3", I could save a lot. I'm dead set on using the aluminum after using it in my Omni last time. Nice stuff.

On my Omni (with same exact NPR), I used 2.75 on the IC i/o. It was a tight fit, but the 3" seemed a little loose. Either size would probably work though.

We will be adding 3.0" aluminum relatively soon, but we don't bend 2.75" yet.

So three weeks ago when ordered my parts for my TC Masi FMIC, I had to order SS, now I can order the aluminum bends in 2.5" right?? Got two more IC's to install...

We have over 500 2.5" aluminum bends in stock now. They are directly orderable from our website.
