We received many requests for an affordable/reliable performance connecting rod that will endure a Daily Driver or all out Race application without the risk of failure. Our Fully Machined/Balanced Custom 4340 Billet Steel H-Beam Connecting Rods will provide you with the strength needed to support well over 500 HP without having to be replaced every season. Unlike the Aluminum versions, our custom connecting rods will provide years of reliable service without the threat of failure due to stretching or fatigue. Each matched set is shotpeened for added strength then fitted with Aluminum Bronze Bushings and ARP rod bolts to keep things together when the going gets tough. If you are looking for a quality performance connecting rod that's manufactured to the highest of standards then your search has ended.

Callie's new H-beam Compstars?

Eagle is inferior to other rod comapnies out there (and cranks, too) like Crower and Oliver for instance... but they are FAR better than OEM. Their machining tolerances aren't right on, but acceptable, and the materials are not quite as good, but they are also a fraction of the cost.

You just have to have the engine builder/machinist check the housing bores before installing at their reccomended torque and lube as they always seem to be out there. (am still speaking of Eagle = made in China)

Too bad Andreas, I already got mine:partywoot:
As a mechanical engineering student the metallurgy and finishing of the rods grabed my attention. The surface and contuors of the rods are very smooth and very well finished. I've been waiting for a set of these for a long time. Thank you Chris for such a good product.:thumb:

What goes unnoticed, or at least unsaid, is that Chris has put together a complete, and superior, performance package.

For what I am building, these top quality rods together with TU's other proprietary products - 3" SV, stainless log header, and correctly shaped/spec'd Wiseco forged pistons - are foundation stones.
