Tired of seeing this brought up so here is some info.
Those little cracks you see inbetween the valves are normal. Dodge even issed a bulletin about it. If your worried, have a machine shop pressure test it for piece of mind. There are no coolant jackets around that area for a few inches. A very rare few the valve seats have dropped but I personally don't believe the cracks were the issue.
Any cracks in the chamber radiating out from the seats, etc its junk or get it fixed.
The CD's will have cracks extending to the triangle coolant hole, this is normal and I usually drill the end of the crack with a small drill bit.
If in doubt, always spend the few bucks and have it checked for leaks and if its old, have it resurfaced.
