Ive got a 85 2.2 TI shortblock in central PA. It came out of my Omni about 8 months ago, and has been sitting in the garage since. I was told it was rebuilt previous to my owning the car and had about 40-50k miles on it. It ran perfectly, had about 10 psi oil pressure at idle, and made good power for a TI. I'm looking to get $50 for it. I need to get it out of the way, as I'm pulling my Javelin in the garage to start work on it. Let me know if you are interested.

i think i may have one for you. it would need the pistons and rods put back in, and while it's there, may as well put some new bearings in. its an 86 t1
50$ and if you want me to check it first and install the bearings and gaskets, i can do that for a fee. lmk

how many miles are on it?

the pistons have new rings on them and you would be putting new bearing in, so it would have almost 0 miles. before that it prob had 90-100k

i posted in your other thread about t2 rods also. if those were for this motor, you would need t2 pistons as the early t1 is pressed pins. i believe i have some t2 pistons also:)

I am like 4.5 hrs from the border, but could meet you halfway if you wanted to do that for the cost of gas. It would probably be about $50 for gas.

I've got an '88 T2 motor here 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. The bottom end is from an '88 Shelby Z that had roughly 78k on it. The top end came from my buddies Shelby Lancer (head looks like it had recently been gone over). It has an '88 T2 one piece intake on it. Block is painted black. Has brand new Mopar headbolts, MP headgasket, Mopar exhaust/intake gasket, and Mopar timing belt. Never had it in a car to hear it run. Had put it together for my friend to put in his Omni but he lost interest and sold the car. I'm asking $400 or just make me an offer. Motor doesn't include the turbo or turbo lines, however.
