Well, my Omni that I'm fixing up to be my GLH clone, winter driver, needs new brakes. So instead of just buying new brakes and since I have a complete front spindles and rear axle assembly from an '86 SC, I want to convert it to 5 lug. I know the front is easy enough, swap the 5 bolt spindles on, then the SC calipers and brakes. How about the rear? Do I have to swap the entire drum? Or just the hub? Also, I don't need to swap in a different master cylinder or prop valve correct?

Thanks

On the rear, take off your drum and there will be 4 bolts inside (15mm I believe) pull those and the whole assebly will come off. Oh and don't forget your E-brake cable

Rear, swap the drum, simple as that.

You could put the 24mm master to give it firmer brakes. If your going 5 lug, might as well put the non-vented rear discs on, :partywoot:
