Is a turbo fuel pump sufficient to run a 3.0 in a 90 lebaron? I think I read somewhere that it was an upgrade but not sure.
Same pump.. Both V6 and Turbo use high pressure MPFI..

Thanks! I wasn't sure. I had an extra pump given to me and the one in my father-in-laws lebaron went out.

91 and up turbo's and V6's used the same pump.

Minor correction here.. 91 and up TBI's used the same pump as the Turbo/V6..

What about an 89 turbo pump in a 90 v6 mpfi car? I guess I should have been more specific.

hehe my mom's mechanic couldn't get the Walbro 190 I got for her to work in her 90 acclaim V6 :) Course he couldn't get my grandma's Ranger out of 4wd low either :)
Often takes some hacking to get the larger Walbro pumps to fit where the smaller late model pumps went.. I know the pump in my '90 Omni was smaller than a Walbro, but the same size as an aftermarket OEM replacement pump for a '90 turbo car..

I'll let ya know later when I rip that Napa POS he put in there that's already making bad bad noises and put the walbro in it.
