Anyone have pics of 16v L body swaps??

Still in the planning stages here as I'm gonna drive this thing till the snow's too deep to drive it(feel like I'm 16 again:D ). I would like to see some of the clearance issues with the firewall vs turbo.
Car will be getting at least a 6pt bar so cutting/modifications of the firewall can be compensated for.

If its a Hybrid swap the firwall is the last of your concerns, little tighter
up front by the radiator:

This fits with ease with a fullsize TO4E compressor.

A 6 point roll bar wont effect your firwall one bit, front down bars
have to be on the sill in a FWD and the sill ends at the front of your
drivers door.

Thank you both! It will be a hybrid, I have a N/A dohc head here and MAY be getting an SRT head too.
I wasn't worried about the bar ot cage interfering but if I needed to cut structure from the car to fit the head/turbo/exhaust I could compensate with it.
Russ, Your header looks like the one I just bought so that pic REALLY helped!
Not sure which turbo will go on it yet as I have a couple leftovers from my turbo fjord days but feel better after seeing that!
The front does look like it's gonna suck. Guess I'll have to fab up a cowl induction type scoop eh?

there is a guy with a rampage with a DOHC maserati head 2.2 / 5spd combo. the truck is really clean!

That masi engine in the rampage looks like it belongs there. Now thats some nice work. I personally would go 2.2 in an L body as well.
