View Full Version : Bolt spacing

I dont have a non CB (4 bolt) crank sprocket handy to measure the bolt spacing pattern for the crank pulley. Making a tool here that will pickup on that pattern, but my guess that is was the same as a 5 bolt for center line spacing proved to be wrong.

Anyone know for sure ?

1.755" or within a few thousands there of.

I measured my four bolt at 1.75" and yes the same diameter circle as the five bolt

My mistake in how to measure an odd number of holes (5 bolt crank sprocket) seems to have been the problem. I was snapping dimensions from center/center like an even # pattern when it should have been from center to edge.

I updated the DXF and next week if time allows I'll be remaking the puller I did last week but on a better machine with true 3 axis capability and much tighter dimensional control.
