Does the 2.7 and 2.4 use the same transmission?

yes.... sorta....

both use the a604 or 41te.

in the late 90's/early 2000's minivans, they paired a 2.4 with a 31th or a413 3 speed i believe.

bellhousing pattern is different though.

2.7, 3.2 and 3.5 share bell housings, not sure about 3.6

Yep, manual Stratus 2.7L is a T850 with a different case/bellhousing and gear ratios than the T850 used in the 2.4L Turbo ST-4. I picked one up not knowing this.. it's for sale:
