There are a number of 4th cylinder cooling options what are you thoughts.
1)Water pump to 4th cylinder before and after impeller- I think before impeller may be best of the two.
2)4th cylinder to thermostat waterbox - due to low pressure differential I seriously doubt the this is any more than a trickle
3) 4th cylinder to heater core/bypass - I feel this is likely the best for cooling #4 but I hear that this causes limited flow at the coolant sensor

I plugged the hole underneath the thermostat box and run the hose from the 4th cylinder to waterpump as I don't run hoses to heater core. If I did use the heatercore, I'd plugged the hole underneath the thermostat box, run the the hose from 4th cylinder to heater core, then to the waterpump.

I don't think I've read where anyone has conducted an actual test with pressure or temp readings. I tried the 4th cyl coolant mod once and ended up drilling into the rear driver's side head bolt passage. That was a bummer.

I ran mine from the freeze plug on the end of the head to the inlet side of the water pump. Fixed the number 4 spark knock problem for me. As a side note this will flow a lot of water bypassing your radiator. I had to restrict mine a little so the water would actually flow more through the radiator instead of from the head directly to the water pump.

Starting about post number 5. If you cant see the pictures let me know and I will repost them if needed.

I like the hose running from the head into a Cavalier upper rad hose with the molded nipple.
