Hey Guys, been a while since I've been on here. Life has gotten in the way and put a lot of things on the back burner. As such, I'm thinking about getting rid of my spare GTP, it's one of the cars that was never completed, so it's much cheaper than what been being sold lately. I wanted to post the opportunity here, before the For sale threads, because I want this sub group to have first crack at it.
It's a Series 1.5:
Missing Items:
doors
hood
decklid
roof
windshield and frame
interior
Headlights and buckets
fuel tank
Radiator and fans
shift cables (I'll check I may have a spare set)
wing/radiator cover
Not Missing
monocoque body
Front and rear suspension
NOS engine/trans
Exhaust (I've got single and factory dual exhausts)
Depending on purchase price, I'd include a set of the factory fittipaldi fittistar wheels
I don't know what it would cost to source/complete the car as a full Consulier, but for someone looking to hot rod and roadster it, this would be a great starting platform. Since you'll have all of the handling and the performance that made the consuliers great, but budget left to make it what you want.
I'm thinking for the car and the Fittistars, $8,000. If there is any interest, I'll post up some pictures tomorrow when it's light out.
The More I've thought about this for the $9,000, I'll also include the crash test car I have, so that a roof and windshield frame, and spare rear suspension can be had also.
