Went to dad's house to say hi and try to mend some fences after a few months of silence.....We started reminiscing about our first street/strip venture and I asked if there was any chance he had any pics of our Chevelle....
Sure enough he did and they were the ones I thought got lost in a flood after we moved to Lemont!!
I only had time to scan this one while we were there but I have pics going all the way from start to finish so I can start a little "memorial" of sorts...
So here it is, custom built fiberglass fenders, hood, nose, doors and decklid.
And a super healthy 440 BBC, 400 trans and 4.56 geared rear...
STILL miss her!:(

All went well, thanks. Luckily our family has a hard time holding grudges....

That's good that all went well.
My family does not do well with grudges... Some grudges between family have been going on for better then 2 decades :confused:

very nice. i always was a big fan of the sub '72 Chevelle but after seeing that one i like those bodystyles too. cool car.

If they're done up right they are tough looking cars. Unfortunately even with the fiberglass parts it still had a race weight of 3970#!!!
