Its the first time servicing one of these. Can someone tell me how to get the rocker arm shaft out so I can change the stem seals??? I also have 1 head bolt freaking stuck in the head. This blows

Damn, I had a ton of magazines dealing with that engine and threw them all away, :(

Damn you! It has a hemispherical valve set up. One valve on to and one on bottom. The shaft slides thru a set of journals. Hmmm I am stumped.

I've got some vintage FSM forsale. I think I have chrysler 1955 1959, 1960 and a few more. if you're interested, I'll give you a specific list of what all I have and a cheap price.

Wow...Saw one of those in a junk yard about 3 months ago. Thought it was an old firedome hemi like 392 or something. Turned out to be a 318.

Head bolt...Put a breaker bar on it..Then PIPE...then use pressure. It should come lose

Email me here :G050Shelby@aim.com. I deal primarily with 1957-1962 Chrysler cars and dabble with Shelby Dodges. I'm in the process of restoring one of the last "christine" surviving stunt cars and just yanked the original 318 dual quad poly. I can probably help you.
