Please link me or direct me if this has already been covered in the past.
I am attempting to repair the door arm rest on a 1986 Laser XE and I need to glue the outer flexible material to the plastic backing plate at the perimeter. The backing plate is identified as ABS plastic and the flexible outer is identified as PVC. So far I have not found a glue that sticks well to both materials. Some stick well to the ABS backing but not to the flexible PVC. Does anyone know what will work? Last I tried was a 2 part Loctite product specified for plastic which stated it worked on ABS and PVC.
thanks
Marty

See if there's any interior shops in your area, they may have some advice.
