i have a turbo on my omni that was on the car when i bought it. dont know much about it other than its modified. it has a large comp. wheel in a stock housing and large ex. wheel in a .48. the only markings on it are "FP T66"
i believe i was told it was from forced performance?? i also believe it came from gary d.'s direction a few years back, a friend bought it as a complete top end ect. he was told it was on a 2.5

anybody make anything from the markings?? or does it have to be measured?all i know is it spools very slow, like 10psi at 35-4000 then ramps wickedly. just trying to find out some info on it if possible. it just seems to spool sort of slow and has me thinking i may have a issue, or i guess it could just be like a stg. 4 ex wheel or something.
thanks for any info

well there was a T66 turbo. I went to a website I googled http://linux.forcedperformance.net/merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=FP&Category_Code=AllTurbo Didnt see a T66. I can say their prisec are absolutely ridiculous though.

i follow you on the second part, pricey for sure. anyway i tried there first, and didnt come up with anything... so thats why i posted, hoping someone may have some insight. thanks for the rely though:)

oh, and im running a 2.2, maybe thats why it spools like it does.

I think it means it's a 66mm exducer on the compressor. It's hard to say what else is has without measuring the wheels.

thanks russ, unfortunately thats what i figured. i have to crawl under it tonight to see if i can fix a kink in the return line cause it wants to blow some blue smoke after warm and on engine de-cel. i may end up throwing a stocker back on it if i cant cure it. i can see where it is seeping oil at the turbine housing and chra.

well i may be opening it up soon to find out for sure. it started to smoke more than i care for so i removed it, and installed a stock t2 for now. seems it may spool better on a ported head 2.5...... or 16valve :eyebrows:
here are a few shots, no i didnt get my finger caught in the compressor inlet:)
...............files too large. let me try that again.
