Anyone know where I can get some 14x7 steel wheels for the front of my wagon? I'm looking for a steel rim that will take a hubcap and will be able to take the abuse of daily driving. I was looking at autocross wheels made by diamond racing wheels but it says they need to be balanced to the lug holes not the centers like normal rims.

hmm.. i think i might actually go out of my way to get 14x7 steelies if i could find em, but i honestly dont think they exist. id be super happy to find a set of the 14x5.5 'aluminum steelies' that i hear some imperials had.

The thing about 14x7s is that there aren't really tires available to take advantage of the width without being overly tall. the only ones i find are around 25" tall. imo thats tall but for some people, especially with 3-spd auto, thats probly fine. however, you can run a 215/60 on a 14x6, which are both much easier sizes to find, and i know thats a good proportioned combo from having seen it on other cars (mostly 2nd gen cavalier z24s).

i have some 14x6 aluminum wheels i ran on my lebaron for a while, but after i found out they weighed 19 lbs a piece, i have relegated them to junk status. i have 16x7 steelies that weigh 19 lbs, so what does that say about the 14s, lol. i also have some 17x8s that weigh 18, some 18x7.5 that weigh 17, so yeh 19lbs = teh lose.

Anyone with some 'aluminum steelies' feel free to PM me ($$$) :)

MP made some 14x7 aluminum wheels for the Neon. They are ns1 now but Summit still has them for like $180 each
