Does anyone know of any extra engine cradles or have one out of the car they can do measurements on?
I'm looking to duplicate it for a project.
Thanks!

are you referring to the rear subframe?

Yep, just the frame. Don't need any of the suspension, etc with it.

It's allot to ask, but is it possible for you to create a drawing with measurements we can use to create a new one?

Series 1 or 2 and does it have a trans / driver side lower removable cross member?

Series 1
Not sure about the cross member, I'd have to look, but I'll say for this purpose though it shouldn't matter, as it shouldn't change the general dimensions/mounting points right?

yeah, the removable cross member doesn't affect the overall dimensions from what I've seen in pictures. Looks like it's cut and round 4 bolt flanges were welded on where the cuts were made then bolted together.
Not sure why they all weren't like this. FYI I plan on adding this feature to my car. Changing a clutch without being able to remove the trans is a nightmare.

Sounds like the new one will be with this design as well. Hopefully I can get dimensions of one without pulling mine.

Who bought the aluminum rear sub frame? I cant remember , but I bet they could get you measurements.
Seems to me with belly pan off you could get most measurements while its still in car.
