PARTING 89 daytona shelby Chicago illinois

Due to rust,money and lack of time my 89 daytona shelby will be parted out.

Car is an original 89 common block with 130k miles with an a555 trans with a brand new TU 6 puck ceramic clutch. This is a full power options car with everything working. That said heres the list.

2.2 common block engine,runs good,no smoke $350 obo

Good garret t2 turbo $150 obo ( might be able to go with the engine for a little bit more)

A555 trans, no grinds shifts fine when cold or hot. $225 could possibly ship for more. Prefer pickup though.

89 shelby BIG brake package All the rotors and pads are about 2500 miles old and in great shape. Car stops great. So all four calipers,including 4 rotors and all pads. $125 Once again prefer not to ship but i can for extra.

4 16" pumpers. Two wheels have 225/50/16 eagle rsa's with good tread on them. The two rears also have good cooper lifeliners on them 80 percent tread. Most likely will not ship these. $150 for all or OBO.

1.25 swaybar good shape $40.

A555 shifter and cables $75 obo.

Enthusiast seats. Drivers seat is 100% functional. $100 for both OBO.

DUAL stock TD intercoolers. Plumbed together in series and it doesnt leak. $125 obo.

1G DSM BOV fiberglassed on hardpipe. $60obo.

Wiring harness. Nothing wrong with it,everything functioned as it should except for the cooling fan which blew a fusible link. $50 obo.

Smec computer $50 obo.

2.5 heatwrapped downpipe attached to 3 inch pipe $30 obo

12 button traveller,needs the buttons replaced. $30 obo.

t2 airbox assembly. Make offer.

Rear seats. Good shape,need cleaning $30.

Gauge cluster. All works $25

TU 6 puck ceramic street/strip clutch. good shape less than 1000 miles on it. $275 obo Will most likely come with the flywheel it was driven with.


'87 cd infinity cd player. Plays well $50

infinity cassette deck. Functions as it should $20

Front and rear bumpers. Make offer.

Front fenders are in good shape. no rust Make offer

Rear hatch louvers. Good shape Painted with black spray paint and look great

Car has dark grey side skirts in good shape. Need cleaning. $40

Hood $40 No rust that i can see.

New autozone hatch struts. $20 for both.

New daytona rocker panels off ebay. $55

2 various boost controllers $15 dollars a piece plus shipping.

3 piece spoiler. Good shape Make offer.

Equal length axle setup. Make offer.

Door panels are in good shape their just dirty. Im confident what little dirt they have on them would come out with a good cleaning. their a light gray upper with dark grey vinyl lower. For the clutch i would still want $275 just because i was going to include the flywheel as a freebie. It is freshly turned and whatnot.

The radio and cd player...is that the factory 2 piece radio that came in these cars? Do you have the mounting brackets and cable that connects the two? If so I'm interested.

All the radio says is 1987 chrysler g/j body cd player from mitsubishi. I only have the brackets that were attached to it. The cassete deck is just one that has the plug in for the cd player i believe. I duno if they are a set or not.

also found some more stuff in the garage. I have a 3 inch high flow cat. Used for less than 100 miles on my old lancer. $45 shipped for this.

Turbo grand prix intercooler. good shape and no leaks when last used. $50 shipped

Im also surprised that noone wants a dual intercooler combo or an already mounted 1G talon BOV mounted onto a hard pipe.

Would you be willing to sell the switch control for the drivers seat? I just picked up a set of enthusiast seats but the switch on the bolster is cracked and one of the buttons does not spring back level with the other, so I would like to replace it.

The cd player works fine but doesnt play most burned cd's .....Its a 1987 cd player so yeah. As for the switch control for the drivers seat. Mine is cracked too but it all works. Also i have no idea how to remove the bugger

Can you take a pic and email it to me? Mine is actually missing the rear section. It just pulls straight out, then you can disconnect the wiring from the rear. You may have to wiggle it a little.

I have ALL the rotors and calipers. All 4 rotors are nearly brand new, as well as the brake pads. All of the calipers worked fine.

Shipping would prolly be alot tho. this stuff is heavy

Nah no engine wiring harness. I was originally going to keep it because i thought it was in good shape. but as i started removing it i noticed alot of stuff that was going to cause someone a ton of problems.
