The basics: '86 Turbo Z with 2.2, slightly ported swirl head, T2 conversion, stock T2 turbo, IC, airbox, etc. A520. +40's, 3-bar, grainger (for now).

Finally running the Blueberry and the first few WOT passes leave me curious. At about 16 psi I get a CEL solid on. Not flashing like knock, just on. It goes out a second or two after I lift.

Codes: 15 (SDS bad, I know, two step disabled) and 5 (fast flash will occasionally miss a digit, so this is most likely 55)

Timing: 12* base
Fuel pressure: 45 static (Yes, I need to raise it)
EGT at WOT at 16 psi - 1300 and rising
A/F 9 lights (never never goes to 10)

Is there something I should be worried about?

What does your scanner say while doing these pulls?

The knock detect stays active for a second or two after the condition goes away, depending how much spark was taken out. Sounds like knock to me.

Sounds like knock to me.

That's what I was thinking, but there was no flash, just on. With the low fuel pressure, I expected knock the first pass.

Today I made another WOT run. With the temps outside at 40*F, there was no CEL. So, it must be knock. The cooler air temps must have reduced it.

I will turn the fuel pressure up to 55 this weekend before I beat it any more.
