I have a set of TU +1mm exhaust valves if you don't mind used ones. Do you need just one, or a whole set?

Technically speaking, the stems don't drop, the guides do. Unless you are saying you dropped a valve, IE the retainer came loose and dropped the valve into the chamber and bent it.

If it's still running fine, just has a dropped guide and smokes, chances are your valves are fine.

Correct. its the guide.

i said stem because of the problem.

2 of my guides have slide down.
insteed of sticking out about a half inch.

they are only sticking up about 1/4 of an inch.

not allowing my stem seals to full seat and stay on the guide. causing major smoking.

So i have a extra head.
ive orderd
PT lifter.
PT shims.
Titanium LS retainers 8*.
sealed power 8* locks.

to use the 8* locks i need a set of single groove exhaust valves.
best way to obtain those is with the +1 custom ones our vendors have.

but non of our vendors have them at this time.

So im driving around a smoking turd.
Looking to buy or borrow +1 exhaust valves with single groove keepers.

I thought the exhaust valves all had two or three groove keepers? The intake valves are single groove, aren't they?

our vendors supply a valve that aare +1 in size and use the 1 groove lock.
having 1 groove on the intake and exhaust lets me use the correct 7* locks.
so i dont have a missmatch of factory 8* 4 groove exhaust valve locks.
with the titanium LS1 retainers that have a 7* angle.

using the +1 single groove and the 7* single groove locks. matches perfect with 7* retainers i am using.

everyone seems to be out.
I wish someone was sitting on a set for a build they could let me use for a month or two till the supply is back in.

masterjr33,
Sorry I can't get the "reply with quote" to work. If your using LS retainers and 7° keepers with stock stem diameter valves, make sure the keepers aren't butting together. Make sure your buying 5/16" or 8mm keepers and not 3/8". Also check how far keepers protrude out the bottom of retainer. This could become an issue if using a higher than stock lift cam. Chris has some -.060 green keepers he got from me that are pictured on far left. See how much better they fit inside retainer? Make sure you check installed height and open and closed spring pressures when using conical springs. I see lots of mistakes made when setting up valvetrain. Check everything!!!
