I need a common block- Crankshaft main cap bolt with oil sump support.
I am putting on a baffled pan and need to switch the pick up tube
The shorter pick up has a triangular Brace and needs this stud.

It's actually a non-common block main cap bolt with stud support you are looking for.

I drilled and threaded a small hole in my main cap bolt head for a stud when I ran into this.
Non common block bolt with stud was shorter.
Thanks

Looks like you welded a bolt on your main bolt??
Should be good.
Thanks

Yes. We were worried about losing too much material by drill and tapping , so went this route.

Any concern that the heat from welding changed the strength of the bolt? Especially given that those bolts are torque to yield. I'm sure that bolt is/was heat treated.
