I haven't talked much about my Ford on this website but here it goes. I just had it tuned today. It layed down 442whp and 461.49ft-lbs of torque. I was hoping for 450whp. I can't wait to get it to the track.

What all is done to it?

Factory Supercharger with a 2.8" upper pully
Cat Back Exhaust
K&N Airfilter
Dyno Tuned
They said I would of made 12-15 more wheel horsepower with a new x pipe and cats but I like how quiet the car is. It actually sounds stock so it's kind of a sleeper.

Kind of a sleeper with the supercharger whine.... ;)

Nice mod list, I absolutely love the 03-04 Cobra's :thumb:

My Bro has an '04 with more mods than I can remember, it laid down 562 WHP at one Mustang dyno day in Santa Barbara. It's mega-fast be it's a convertible so it's banned everywhere:confused: He refuses to put a bar in it to make it legal.

Another guy in our SD club has one with the same kind of mods as yours but I think he has a larger TB and the upper elbow to the manifold. That guy can drive, he lays down 11.40's on drag radials:eyebrows: Can't wait till he gets his 16 Masi project running...;) Are you reading this SVTPat????

Volvo man huh? I got a 1990 240DL NA with a VX3 Cam, Exhaust, IPD sway bars, and voxx 17" 215/45/17 as my daily driver. It's not the fastest but it handles well. I love the car and it has been pretty good to me. If the car goes south then maybe a V8 swap hehe.

The interior is what sets the S60R apart. If I was in the market for a new Volvo that would be the one I would get. I also like the S80's.

Volvo V70R for me. I sat in both at the auto show and just liked the wagon better. The back seats seemed to have more room. Can't deny I have a thing for wagons.

My friend has an '03 Cobra. He has a pulley, exhaust, K+N and a tuner chip thingy. He bought into this company that sells the tunes for a large majority of cars today...forget the name... as he has a dyno shop. He made 430whp and he says he has over 400ftlbs of torque at the wheels at 1,800 rpms, too.

I drove it a couple weekends ago... I sucked as those clutches grab about an inch off the floor compared to what I have been used to.

Yeah there a lot of potential with 03/04 Cobras. I heard of pump gas cobra's running up to 735whp. The stock Fuel system max out about 500whp but you know how that goes. Right now I have a 91 Oct tune in my car. It has instant throttle response and even in 6 gear you can feel it pulling pretty well. I told myself I wouldn't do anything to it. I just have the typical modding disease.

I kick myself all the time for not buying an 03/04 Cobra, but I modded my 2000 GT instead. It has a stock 4.6 with the Saleen M90 Supercharger kit on it, with a smaller pulley, 42lb injectors, 90mm mas air, Chicane fuel pump, Long tube headers, and an off road H-pipe. With a very conseritive tune it put down 325whp and 350 ftlbs of torque. I know in Mustang standards that's not alot of power for a blower car, but it ran 12.9@109mph. Not bad but not great, but I love the Torque curve on a Roots Blower. I can't wait to find out what your Cobra runs!!!

Those are pretty good numbers and what's nice about a roots blower is the torque curve. They make more hp usually with a procharger but the torque and horsepower down low isn't there. I love the instant throttle response of a roots too.

One thing I like about your car for drag racing is the live axle. I was cutting 2.0 60' in my stock 03 Gt and I only cut 2.3 60' in my Cobra on the better F1's???

I'm hoping for mid 12's. It ran 13.2@108.5 stock with the factory tires the first time I took it to the track. I added a K&N Cold air and it went 13.1@109.75. So hopefully I can break the 110 mark.

New mods
315/35/17 nitto 555R
IRS BF Brace
Magna Flow Exhaust
2.8" pully and tune

Stock Clutch- I hope it holds

Hey thanks man. I got it when I was highschool as a hand me down 10 years ago from my mom who wanted me to be in a safe and reliable car. I loved Volvo's since I was small probably because of my dad who was a Volvo dealer mechanic and we always had one in the family.

Nice Spirit btw!

My friend's Cobra has only made passes in the 1/8th. I thionk stock it was around 85mph. Now it's around 88mph. He's got some 315 drag radials on it and was having issues hooking up. I think he's down to 1.9s with the car, but is going to swap out of stock bushings in the rear end to poly.

Yea they have Porsches too. He says out of a turn the Volvo just eats them. Bigger engine, more torque. But by the time they hit the end of the straight away they are right up there again. Once those little motors start hitting 5k or so is when they start really going on the Porsches. I still think Porsches suck though. I dunno I rode in one we had at work. Its was a 87 or so 911 turbo. I was like wth, my car goes about as good as this. But anyways yea he travels all over the country and Canada. He is part of the pit crew.

good numbers. there are some wicked TT 03/04 Cobras running around as well as tons of Kenne Bell and Whipple blown cars. they are nice for sure with an endless array of options for mods. throw on a Pro 5.0 shifter next, get some BFG Drags, long tubes and all that other good stuff and you'll be well over 500RWHP. damn, i like those cars.

New times! I took my car down to the track today and my best trap was 116.71. The only bad part was I was running factory tires because I didn't have a chance to put my DR's back on but I did get a 12.8 out of them which surprized me because I couldn't hook very well.

put on some MT DR's and you will hook very well.
