Lighting for the GTP

Was wanting better tail light/stop lights for the GTP.

I got this back....

Limited lifetime warranty. If anything is wrong with them within the first year that you have them we will replace the light you're having an issue with. After the first year you would have to send us the light for repair. If it cannot be repaired, at that point we will replace it. Only cost to you would be shipping.

I am going to SEMA this fall to see if I can find something for headlights.

KC is supposed to come out with some DOT 80's square/rectangular LED headlamps soon. Right now they only have rounds. Its expensive stuff.

I got the bigger size ones not the jr's but the juniors look like they are the same size as the GTP headlights. The only reason I haven't picked a set or 2 up is because they might be too deep for the front wheel well covers on our cars. Especially because I am thinking of getting new ones made (the inner wheel well cover) so I can drop the nose of the car more and not rub. You might save some room if you get an HID kit where the plug off the bulb is at a 90deg to save space.

I am currently overhauling my drivetrain at the moment so no money for "esthetics" yet... If I do try a set, I'll be sure to let everyone know and put up some pics. But if someone else wants to try be my guest. You can get them without the "halo" ring as well.

I know they're a little ricey but thoughts??

You can get the bare hella projector modules for $50 each, but then you got to put a lot of time into mounting.

Didn't realize the stock lights are 92mm x 150mm instead of the more common 4x6.. doubt KC or anybody will be making anything new.

I guess you could try to get a 4x6 LED like these in there. Zorotools has them for 259 and they send out 20 and 30% coupon codes-

It looks like you have to cut the stock lights apart to fit those? I thought they were the entire light assembly...hmmm. Can't wait to see how bright they are!

I am not sure about wrecking my lights...so bought new reproductions to cut up.

Did you get your cheap tail lights? Mine have not arrived they say that there are none available anywhere , waiting on a shipment from China! So much for American made.

I know when I was at Rossion, I picked up 2 spare sets of lamps. If I remember correctly, they were inside the building. There was a tote full of them. So, the rest may not have survived, unless some of the indoor items didn't get thrown out?

I think I found them in one of the containers when I grabbed my set. Were still in the box although the box was very weathered. From what I remember it was toward the middle but possibly more on the left side of the row. Its been a while since I was there so I may be completely wrong.

I finally got new tail lights.
Just have not had time to cut them up to install the LED part I bought.
Been trying to still get caught up from my road trip to SDAC.
