I'm looking to start on the interior redo on my car after the mechanical stuff is done. I'm pretty handy with stuff ( see steering wheel refresh ) but have some questions about the headliner.

How is the headliner done on the series 2 cars vs series 1 cars?
Mine runs from the a-pillars at the dash all the way up and over and back down below the rear window.
I've mentioned this before but it seriously looks like it was installed before the glass and rolls into the glass channel and the sealant for the glass is on top of the headliner material.

I know someone has redone theirs but forget who it was. Any pictures? I have a couple of ideas, but not so sure how they'll pan out until I get things ripped apart...and by that point I better have more than a few ideas to make it go back together and look nice.

..Oh and pulling the glass and or leaving it bare is not an option.

My red car was re done , it is not a fun job. I believe that factory ones were installed before glass.
I spoke to Rossion interior guy.
He said with the right glue it's no problem to do with windows in.
My headliner is Alcantara , it is in 2 pieces the seam is behind sunroof and runs side to side. It was all glued on with glass in place.
