For those that have had a bad one, what were your symptoms. Also, if you have an auto tranny that would be even better to hear about, since that's what I've got.

My symptoms I'm having, which I don't know for sure are related to the SDS, are: Any speed over 45 and I get a feeling like something is cutting out. It basically stutters along at 55. I'm also using much more fuel than I should be. I went 77 miles after filling the tank, and spilling some fuel out trying to top it off, and I used almost a 1/2 tank of gas.

Things I know/Have done:

Replaced the FPR. Have not had chance to test the car since this.
Replaced plugs and wires with stock replacements. Again, have not tested it.

During the FPR replacement I unhooked the battery. I did take it around the block afterwards but not over 45. When I got back I checked for codes and all I had was a 15, which on a 89 computer is the SDS. I looked up the info on the bum SDS at Mini Mopar and it says something about wanting to stall while coming to a stop. With the auto I didn't have anything like this.

Things I'm going to be doing:
Fuel Filter
E Check.

I figure the E Check, if I don't pass, might help shed some light on what's going on. (Simon, I'll be PM'ing you if I don't pass :D )
Any help?

Thanks!
Paul

Alright, let me ask this question instead (after thinking about this for a bit).

If I have the code 15 for an 89 T1, would it be safe to assume I should replace the SDS? I can get one for about $35 from Autozone. I've used one from them before and it worked.

Thanks,
Paul

If it says the sensor is bad check the wiring and then replace the sensor.always cehck the wiring and conector First as mine says the TPS is bad but if you wiggle the conector the light goes out.
