Looking for the front engine mount to an Omni GLH, the part that bolts to the engine.
If anyone has one please let me know.

there's a difference? What does a non turbo look like?

The turbo unit has an extra piece of metal welded to it as a brace.

the one that is the only thing in the picture? I have three of those in fact. That is the same one that came off the glhs I own. I have no idea what a turbo one looks like.

I never knew there were different ones for turbo and non-turbo either. Mine eventually broke. Found another one and welded some bracing to it.

It would be the next picture in my Photobucket. It just has an extra piece of metal welded on the top like Gary said.

Non turbo L-body is 4269279. 20 minutes of work and it's stronger than a factory turbo mount.

Use a plug weld to mount that top piece?

Yeah the factory turbo bracket did not use plug weld on the lower portion of the added piece. Just made a couple improvements to strengthen. There is also a machining/tooling hole under the rectangular plate. The non turbo mounts will tear in that area, so that was reinforced as well.
IMO, your going want to do something similar in the future to your non-turbo mount. It more than likely will eventually crack otherwise.

That HAZ around that middle hole makes me a tad nervous. Other than that I'll be doing the same to one of my spares and swap it out.

Thanks for posting!!!! :hail:

what thickness material did you use to modify the mount?
