Looking for some parts to complete my Spearco intercooler kit for the log TI GLH/Shelby Charger.

I have the most important parts, but still need the low mounted air scoop that goes below the battery tray, an air filter housing, and the throttle cable bracket.

Think your going to have a very tough time locating these Jeremy. The bottom scoop should be very easy to fabricate. I increased my scoop and shroud to 4 inch diameter instead of the 3 or 3.5" the factory had. The throttle body bracket should be able to cut and weld a stock bracket. The aluminum air box while doable, will be labor intensive. Is your intercooler core the 3 or 3.5 thick variety? Early ones had 3" cores while the later had 3.5" cores.

Mine has the 3" IC core and came with the heat shield for the front side and also an angled sheetmetal duct with an ovalized 3.5" intake. I didn't get any hardware to attach the sheetmetal duct to the IC core so it looks like I'll have to make some kind of bracket for attaching that as well. Everything including the duct and heat shield appear to be made out of aluminum.

Looks like I might have to fabricate a few things. The throttle cable bracket doesn't look like it will be difficult. Do you have any pictures of the fresh air scoop? I've had a local shop make a radiator fan shroud for the car (Omni GLH Turbo) already so maybe they can make it too. I wonder if a small 6-7" electric slim fan could somehow fit in.

I think I have most of what you need. Maybe not the throttle cable bracket. I'll look tomorrow and get some photos.

I had the spearco on my GLH. It cooled fine without a fan. Air charge temp was about 160-180 while moving depending on ambient air temperature.

Awesome, thanks for taking a look.

Does this kit use a special logic module? Injectors?

I used the stock 27 pound injectors, only a fresh new set. No special logic module either. I ran a FWD Performance stage 3 LM just fine. 14 pounds of boost with no issues.
You will notice a little lag with the Spearco kit due to the increased intake volume.
I ran a 46mm throttle body too. There was a person on this forum making them years back. Every once ina while you'll see on up for sale.

Here are scans of the Spreaco install instructions: (they loaded in reverse order, so start from the end.)

Jeremy,
I could shoot you some pics of my throttle bracket if you need them. I also have Spearco bottom barcket sitting in a box. I could get you pics of that too I guess. Keith, AKA Keito was modifying 42mm pull through TB to become 46mm. I run MP stage II module in mine. Have ran it for almost 30 years! BTW with my cylinder head and upper engine mods, my log manifold car runs 37 lbs injectors instead of factory 27lb.

Thanks Andy and Todd for the info!

I think I will be stuck running the stock '85 LM on mine because it's a G-head engine. I'm not sure if MP ever made a stage II LM for an '85 turbo L-body.

My brother owns the car now but I still get to work on it (wouldn't have it any other way). He uses the car to get to/from the coal mine and says it's a blast to drive. I'm hoping to get the Spearco installed over the winter when he doesn't drive it. Hopefully gain a little power and improve the longevity of the (cast piston) motor I built for it.

Oh almost forgot... What sits between the compressor discharge and the IC inlet? I take it there is some kind of 2" cast aluminum 90' that is supposed to be there? Does the compressor housing need to reclocked?

It's more of a 135 degree bend than a 90. You can probably find a silicone connector that would work. No clocking of the compressor needed.
I think I have a couple Mopar Performance stage II Logic modules for 1985 TurboI if you need one.

I have the bottom scoop, the corresponding shroud that attaches to the intercooler, airbox and intercooler. Except the intercooler core is bad and someone cut and rewelded one of the outlets in a different direction.

Here's the tin parts I have:
