What are people using for upper mounts on P/K/G/H bodies? I suspect one of the ones I have is junk as it makes noise.

Which brand or part number seems to be the best? Most of the stuff being made for our cars looks like trash now.

I bought Rich's bearing plate for my Koni coilover setup because I do not want to deal with those cheap rubber mount.

I don't know if they work with stock springs.

Might still be available from the dealer. Doubtful, but it might. I was able to get (nos) wheel bearings for my omni so maybe they have strut mounts.

I'll give a few folks a call this morning.

Just checked my parts book, interesting. 87 P-body is listed as a seperate part number for some reason.

4322760 2 KJGHE BEARING, w/Mount Frt. Susp. Strut Dmpr.
4404977 2 P

1988 is listed as being all the same. Very interesting. Seat is the same part number from 87-88.

I have Monroes on the Daytona and Charger, mostly because I get a 50% reimbursement from work for buying Tenneco products. No issues to date.

I was thinking the Monroe one as well just because brand name.

Might get the seat too even though mine look to be in good shape.
