My LeBaron had torn Enthusiast seats, I swapped them out for seats from an 88 with basic seats and don't like them. So anyone with Enthusiast seats they're looking to sell, I'll buy the skins from them. (Shipping entire seats is a -----)

Prefer White but will take red.

I have light tan ones but am looking for red. If you find red ones would you want to trade?

Did you price re-upholstering? Might be worth having new fabric.

I haven't yet, but research lead me to expect to pay over $500. There is a shop in town I keep meaning to stop at, but haven't had time.

One thing i did not realize until talking to a local person in that business, is she could replace single panels in a seat. If it is leather and they have a match, they could cut the few panels that are torn or worn and just do those.
Even if you needed the entire lower, that would be cheaper than redoing the entire seat.
Those enthusiast seats have alot of panels iirc.

I guess depends on year.
I didn't find the recaros in my 03 evo very comfy.

hmmmm i dont remember the year evo that i was in but they were super supportive and comfortable even for a big dude like me. then again, i wasnt in them that long.....

regardless, ill probably stick with my tan enthusiast seats till a red set comes along.

Yeah, and nearly every panel on mine are toast, lol
Backs and bottoms both have several tears. Almost makes me think the person who owned it when they got destroyed had children with large claws.....

I looked around at getting the 2006 Charger seats in my truck re-upholstered. Was quoted $450 for all new with suede/leather combo.

EaZyE426, what year are the seats you are looking for, and if its pre 90 is your LeBaron a coupe or convertible?

89 Convertible

Just to let you know, the enthusiast seats in the 89 convertible are a one year only design. They are also specific to the convertible. The ones from a coupe have larger bolsters more electric adjustments and are the same as a Daytona. The 87-88 convertible seats have larger bolsters, but lack the extra adjustments on the drivers seat that the coupe and Daytona style seats have.

The maroon leather 89 enthusiast seats were pretty common, but white ones are pretty hard to find...

They are physically the same correct? Just have that added switch on the right seat pad for the extra options?

My car came with the maroon/white interior. (Red everything except for white seats and front/rear door inserts)

No, they are very different, and I don't think the coupe-Daytona seat would even fit due to the extra wide tunnel on the convertible. The Red and White interior is a pretty rare option, and I've only seen a few cars that have it. Also the leather is perforated on the 89 cars and solid on the 87-88.
