i want to run a return fuel rail system. i ordered one from obx and returned it, cheap and didn't fit properly. i ordered an adapter for the 420a fuel rail. too big!

so, what did others use for fuel rails for their 2.4? if aftermarket, which vendor and rail? or did you mod the regular 2.0/2.4 rail by brazing/welding on AN fittings?

I bought the OBX and am happy with it. I ran into a problem with the pipe threads on one side. I buggered them up and couldn't get it to seal but got it figured out. What didn't you like about the OBX fuel rail?

the obx fuel rail i got looked like the one in the pic http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=55375&stc=1

the little square things with the holes are the mounts. they slide in a groove on the rail. not only did they not fit very well they did not even come close to matching the mounting holes. i'm guessing i was sent the wrong one. which one in particular did you get? since i'm using a 420a head and intake that is what i ordered.

FWIW, a SOHC T1 rail will bolt up nicely to the 420a intake with a simple dog-leg bracket...

I made my own fuel rail out of a 2.0 DOHC rail (since I'm using that intake). I made a brass plug for each end, drilled and tapped them 1/4" NPT, then brazed them in place. A couple of NPT to -AN adapters later and I'm in business. I haven't touched it since I installed it.

I got the srt4 one that also works with the PT intake.

i was hoping i could just buy something that worked vs having to tweak something. too lazy and didn't want to try brazing - it's been 30 years since i last brazed anything!!

i'll take a look. i've got a couple laying around.

i'm waiting for a response on another adapter. if that doesn't work i'll order in the srt4 one and see what it takes to make it fit.

I had one from Black Dog, but sold it a few months back. Might be a one out there somewhere if you search for them.

Brian Slowe made the one I am using now.
