I set a new Personal Best at Edgewater's Test N Tune tonight (running pump 93 and spraying straight Methanol):

http://home.fuse.net/csxtra/12_749Timeslip.JPG

I'm in the right lane (#6). The left lane was a nice 2006 Mustang GT with a cold air intake, 4:10 gears, and drag radials. He was a cool guy, has a buddy that used to have a turbo shadow, so he had respect for our cars.

I'm loving my new intercooler, it rocks as far as flow goes...I'm pegging my 3-bar MAP sensor at 5V (at least 29psi). The old dual core cooler would only flow 25-26psi (and I made no other changes after switching the IC - aside from dialing in more alky to make up for the lack of fuel). I'm a little concerned about the 1700 EGTs though...more tuning is needed.

Also, Reeves took Ma Reeves' SRT-4 deeper into the 12s, he ran a 12.90 for sure, but I didn't see any of the other runs after that.

Lastly, there was a guy there with a sweet silver SRT-4, who also owns a silver Spirit R/T. So that accounts for 3 of the 31, right Flecksta?

Oh yeah Cap'n!!!!

Good run,but what happens on the way home if you get stoped in a DUI check point and you have to tell them your fine but your car has been drinking.

Hey...I resemble that remark :)

12 second Shadows rule! :amen:

Not as much as 11-second Daytonas do...but they do make good backup cars :D

But I believe that 5V on a 3-bar MAP sensor (somewhere over 29PSI) officially qualifies as "all of it".:thumb:

Now to get that 0-100PSI pressure transducer working right so I can see how much boost I am really running...

Thanks guys for your congrats!!

Kevin,

Thanks for the link...if I can't scale the 0-100 psi transducer correctly, I will look into using the 4-bar sensor.

As far as my setup:
2.5 with +20s :D

Actually:
2.5, JEs, Stock G-head (think this is my cork?), stock 2-piece, 89 T1 cam, +40s and upgraded fuel delivery, 3-bar Cal, T3/T4 (Hot: .63 Stg 3, Cold: 50 trim, T04E cover) Spearco 1080 knock-off, 3" catless exhaust, Alky injection, 520/555 hybrid tranny with Quaife, M&H 23" slicks 3050# race weight (with me in it). I'm sure there's other things I've forgotten, but that is most of it.

Since I'm running the stock head, the only way to get more power is to stack as much boost as I can into it. I think I've taken the stock head about as far as I can go.

I know that a good head will make a HUGE difference on my setup, but I wanted to see how far I could take an unported head before I was forced to upgrade.

about the same setup as my glhs. I have an MP +1mm head and stock pistons. it ran about the same 1/8th mph on 22ish psi and a cracked piston.

Oh yeah capn!!!

Need a clutch now for Mom's SRT....(sorry Mom!)
Figured while I'm in there I should quaife it and remove the balance shafts as I'm adding the alky (to the car and my body).
