This is a feeler thread to see if there would be interest in a kit to redo the leather of your 89 CSX or similar wheel. I am looking to do mine and will most likely have a bunch of left over supplies with the quantities I have to buy. My thought is a kit would include the new leather with inside stitch holes, skived seams, skived and folded spoke ends just like factory and new replacement foam. I could include thread and needles but those are really easy to find and would just up the cost both in materials and shipping.

My gut feeling is a I could offer a kit for about $150 shipped USPS which seems to be around $100 less than what it costs to get it done. Your job would be to remove your old cover and then sit in front of the TV and stitch on the new one.

Let me know if there is any interest in the community for something like this or if I'm out to lunch. :)

Currently all I have is an 89 CSX wheel so that is all I can guarantee fitment on or offer a product for.

I'd be interested. That's been in the back of my mind for a while but never a priority yet. But yeah that'd definitely be worth it if it looks as good as new!

I'd be interested sometime in the not too distant future.
