I get to meet with him and he said he would sign my "extra" engine cover
so I can use it as a wall hanging.

From every interview he has done he seems like just one of the guys. And the fact his employees worked for him for years and years speaks volumes.

He can absolutely drive Frankenstein, it would be an honor.

Story?
We just talked cars, Consulier cars. He told about structure, racing, even about the "The Deer Slayer".
Which is about a GTP hitting a deer that left nothing left of the deer big enough to know what it was and the car living through it.
So that car has the nickname "The deer slayer".

We talked about him coming to SDAC some time.

I gave him a CONSULIER sign. He loved it...said that was cool because no one had ever given him something.
I am sure he meant at some kind of none family gathering like this.
What do you give someone that can get anything he wants?

At the end he was going to walk back to the place he rented for the month while in Portland.
But he drove my car...lots of traffic, so not much "driving" and it was a short distance.
He seemed to like the car. Said he now wanted a convertible Consulier.
Earlier when I said I wanted to get mine appraised, he said it "should" be about $100k.
So when he said he wanted to get one of the targa's for where he lives, I said he could have this one for $100. :)
He said "what about his race car plus some cash".
I said I don't know, I love this car. He just smiles at me...that said it all. He seems so glad people are enjoying his cars.

That 14 car confuses me , is it actually a race car - as in roll cage etc- or is it just say "race car 14 " on the vin plate in the engine compartment? On Johnny's site it's called race car
