Threw 15 year old 24.5x8x15" MT slicks on my daily driver and dropped from 13.8@108 on street tires to 12.9@106

Pretty fun. Haven't made a full pass on slicks since 2009 though my daily is a lot slower than I am used to. Just wanted to prove to myself that it would run a 12 without trying very hard. Could have gone faster with some more aggressive driving but all I wanted was a 12 and no damage :D

10 pounds of boost and regapped chrome rings.

very nice! Does this mean Great Depression Racing will be making a return? Or at least some sort of hypnotic video message will be coming soon????

I need to build a computer that can run a decent video editing program and finish my house :/ Kinda cheatin' on the housework to even have gone racing.

Reaper1 and I talked about putting this car on race gas or dailing back the base timing just for some track abuse but I don't think its a good choice for my daily. I think the modified Walbro can move enough fuel to run an 11 with rising rate regulator and heavier car. I don't really want to find out if it can't. Those slicks also might not hold it. Bad enough that we had to put air in one tire every 10 minutes and air up that side a few psi too high.

Sorry for my crappy camera work at the end. :( I thought he had already crossed the line so I was trying to catch the time and I was watching in real time out of my other eye. Good thing it's not my day job! LOL

house problems....dont get me started. There are literally 1 square foot sections of paint peeling off of my houses eaves and a huge sink hole under part of the concrete patio in the back yard....the machine shop somehow always gets the upgrades and repairs..not sure why that is..

Because you secretly really live at work and only sleep in the house? ;)

the machine shop is in the house lol...

and actually it could use a new floor..the concrete in there is disintegrating....so I suppose its really as worn out as the rest of the house

BTW there is a very interesting mature lady at work who keeps obsessing about my "sleeper" car that she saw racing that day. She is one of those smoking cuss like a sailor types and it kinda makes sense that she hangs out at the track with her kids. Maybe her kids are honda owners at the honda event and she is just used to slow cars so she has low expectations. She seemed to think I was going to win both times and I didn't tell her that I should have lost both races. She saw me get into my car in the staging lanes and that is how I got busted.

She is more helpful now and I am obligated to waving and saying hi for the next few weeks/months.

The first race, yeah...I'm not sure that one you would have won if the Mustang hadn't had a N2O backfire. The second race, though...you had that guy very handily!

I looked at his handgun while they were spraying the track and went back to my butterknife glumly. Yay misfire. I was figuring he would steal the show. BTW, lets get the race next time :P HD cameras look pretty good zoomed out. I actually had the quality settings down to 720/30 frames instead of 1080/60p. Time board zooming made more sense on those old tape cameras. It actually distracted me how bad the mustang fell back since he tree'd me and out 60' me by a little. He said he was having a poor traction day but trapped over 120mph.
