Daytona wiper arm removal

92 Daytona, how do I remove the wiper arms? I see there is some sort of tab on the bottom. Tried prying on that and pulling up, not coming off. What's the proper removal method?

Raise the arm up all the way off the windshield. Pull the tab out till it stops, hold it there and lower the arm until is is held up by the tab. Then rock the arm to loosen it on the post, should just pull off then.

The wipers on the daytona are under the hood cowl, how do I raise them without removing the hood?

Pulled the wiper off, then was able to raise arm high enough under hood to release, thanks for the help!

To get them to clear the hood, you can also turn the wipers on, and when they are pointing up, clear of the hood, turn off the ignition key, stalling the wipers in that position.
