I have about 20 miles on my TU 4 puck ceramic clutch now, and I love it. I am not running much boost or ragging the clutch since I don't have many miles on it, but the feel is terrific.

It is much different that the FWD 4 puck that I had in my shadow previously. The TU unit is much, much smoother to enguage, and is not a 100% on/off type of setup like I am used to. I think it is pretty streetable for those who would like to make some serious power, and go to the track regularly.

I will update this thread as the boost rises.

If I remember my 6-puck, it got more grabby with time. Keep us posted!

The 4 puck is awesome.... I drove one in Aries_Turbo's car. I love it.

The 4 puck is excellent! I've got over 70 launches on it at the track (5300rpm & side step the clutch). Still feels like it did from day one. Not many street miles (engine has 1000 miles and that includes the track time). Drove it to work yesterday and it feels perfect. Can't wait for my Daytona's clutch to go out (old RP unit from the prevoius owner).:D

my doesn't like to hold second. :( I did have some blow by from the cracked piston so maybe some oil got on it.

I thought brian got a 6 puck?

6 puck versus 4 puck, which one can hold more?

The 4 puck should hold better while the 6 puck should have slightly smoother engagement and longer life.

I drove a 6 puck for a year or two. It worked great...I could dump the clutch at any RPM...but got a little cumbersome in heavy traffic. It eventually started squealing, which were the rivits chewing into the flywheel. Also, the springs got all compressed which made it rattle in neutral.

I've got about 100 miles on my 4-puck and so far I love it. The engagement isn't quite as smooth as the stock unit, but not much worse. I was worried it was going to be crappy to drive around town, but its not at all. My buddy (Dr. Evil) is putting a 6-puck in his spirit so I'll have to see how it compares, but I dont regret getting the 4-puck at all.

Im going to need one soon in my car, and i am torn between the 4 or the 6. I need to study up on my clutches and find the pros/cons/differences of the two
