the parting out has begun! I just sold some small parts which now basically make the engine useless as running engine. Will sell the block freshly honed and cleaned, w slightly used JE pistons, prepped rods w ARP bolts, new file fit SP moly rings, install your crank $800, .010/.010 T3/T4 crank $350 with new Clevite 77 bearings, nice virgin never cracked head very recent full recon with Titanium retainers ($300) $900 (will take cracked or otherwise bad heads on trade), valve cover, intake and exhaust manifolds, cam sprockets, cam and crank sensors, stock turbo core, stock turbine housing plus other parts.

About the only thing they have in common is they have 4 valve reliefs (lol). They are about as different as can be. Lotus has big deep chamber in head and Masi has much more shallow chamber. Therefore the Lotus pistons have very small dish while the Masi piston dish is so large minnows could swim in the dish.

So then yes? If the valve reliefs are the same, then there isn't a risk of contact. The dish should just influence compression ratio. Or am I missing something?

I don't want to hijack this guys FS thread anymore than we already have, but the short answer is NO they will not interchange! Most, if not all the the piston manufacturers have made Masi pistons for their customers. If you don't want to order direct from the manufacturers, our vendors; FM, FWD, and TU all have Masi pistons available.
