All,

I have reduced the price of my Hawk HPS and LTS pads from $40 to $30 with free shipping for the holidays.

If you buy two sets it is only $55 for the pair with free shipping!

These require the 91+ knuckle with 11" brakes.

The ordering page is here:

Let me know if you have any questions.

Rich, do these fit my brakes on my GLHS? I always get confused which year I have. They are not the ones with the huge bolts holding the brakes in place, it has the smaller 10mm bolts.

These fit the brakes with the large bolts that connect the caliper brackets. If you have an integrated caliper bracket then they won't fit.

The '89/90 spindle/caliper bracket is a bit lighter than the 91+ 2 bolt on caliper brackets but the newer ones push the ball joint down and give better suspension geometry.

While the 89 spindle is slightly lighter the parts are much easier to find and IMO the suspension geometry advantage is worth it on the 91+.

I can't seem to find the actual weight differences right now but it wasn't huge and some weight can be removed from the 91+ setup (steering stops, ABS sensors, shaved bolt heads, etc) if desired.

One day I'll remember that these won't fit. :p Here's a pic or two to confirm.

Yea those look like the wrong ones. The newer brakes don't have the external clips to hold the pads in place.

If you narrowed them to fit your lbody konis then you will have to get new spindles (or spacers) when you put the BCs on anyway so that will be a good time to change them. :)

heh, No I like the small bolts to mount them and the ones I have are fairly easy to work with and I have a set of brakes going on that are made for the spindles I just had powder coated.

I thought that the calipers were the same?

The rotors are the same but the calipers are a bit different.

I guess I never actaully checked the caliper bolt spacing to see if you could put the 91+ calipers on the older spindle with the integrated bracket.
They older ones look narrower and possibly higher but if someone has a 91+ caliper and 89 11" spindle it would be interesting to check just to be sure...
