Anything I can check out here? It just started last week. The ABS light and the Airbag light stay on constantly.

As far as codes go? nope, sorry, not without a scan tool. I'd start by checking fuses and any other thing that may not work (ie. horn, cruise, brake lights, ect.)

checking horn/cruise is a good start. if you have more than one of the following things go wrong on a 96-up caravan you probably need to replace the clockspring: airbag light, cruise, horn. They may only not work or cut in and out as you are turning the wheel.

if you have an air bag light on, chrysler has a recall on the clockspring (thats the connection under the steering wheel). as for the ABS, get a scanner on it and check for codes. pretty good chance these 2 lights are not related.

The original post is from September. The van was taken to a professional where a broken wire was found inside the steering column. The wire had obviously been "fixed" before since it was stripped, twisted, and taped together.
