I just ordered the parts to install a new custom exhaust system.
The idea is to remove the cat. and the muffler.
Pipe out of the motor to a Y fitting then into dual 6 inch oval tips located in the center of the rear end.(powder coated black)
No cat. or muffler... the mechanic said who knows how it will sound.
Should be better H.P. but noise will be what it is after this.
Kind of trial and error.
If it is too annoying we will work on it.
Any ideas are welcome #44 does not go in till next week.

I don't have a cat or muffler. I do have a twin tip 3 inch Monza end.
Sounds good this way.
I did have a cat, then added a "test pipe" and left it that way.

Not 6inch round tips.
They are about 6inch wide x 2.25 tall.

Thanks for posting that Johnny, one day I will get it together.
It sound so great its even more difficult to keep your foot out of it.
I have been driving it a bit more lately we have lots of roundabouts around here .
Driving very safely though this thing sticks out for sure and now you can hear it too.
Looking for a place under the rear end to mount the go pro for a ride soon.

I drove my Omni with just a down pipe for 6 months, I thought it sounded awesome, only drawback was the exhaust smell which you shouldn't have to worry about! its actually a lot quitter than I thought at idle and cruise, plus you can hear the turbo screamin!
