Hello. I was wondering and got the idea. Does anyone know if the new(er) style dodge avengers came v6 stick shift? Or v6 stick shift awd? Might be interested in getting one to slap a supercharger on it for a daily. If thats possible, would want to sell my 88 dodge lancer shelby and my 02 subaru impreza wrx. It may not make sense but lookin to be different and cant find any with any kind of power on youtube so why not. Want a fun newer toy and also want to start putting together my 70 dart and prostreet it. So anyways any advice or info would be awesome thanks guys. -Heath

I think the only US market Avenger with a manual trans was the 1gen with the four cylinder.

Aww man. I guess finding one to bolt up and have the shifter come out at the same place is probably out of the question and too much work? Would have been cool to have a newer v6 avenger 5 spd with a s/c...lol

If you're willing to import a motor/trans you can check if a V6 in Europe got a manual..

I would like to know if the new 3.6 Pentastar uses the same bellhousing as the older 3.3/3.8/2.7/3.2/3.5/4.0. I suspect it does, but I don't know for sure.

I just read the thread on GRM with you guys discussing this. If it turns out the older trans works, which supercharger were you thinking you would put on the 3.6?

If the older trans would work on the 3.6 v6, and i could get it to work with the factory console, i would have to figure out pedals and also was thinkin like a m62 or somthing but how would it fit on and or maybe a side mount like a small procharger or vortech. Mmmmmm.... maybe this is too much work lol. It would have been good if i had a v6 manual platform... i just dont know

An m62 would be way too small for the 3.6. Even an m90 would be borderline too small!
