We had a few of the Mopar Upper gasket sets part number ending in "772" which ran out recently. We sold the last of our 006 head gaskets a year ago.

Sounds like the next best thing to reproduce, a 005 and 006 type gasket.

We would need a commitment of 500 gaskets to follow through with that venture. That's only 2 gaskets each for 250 people. Maybe we should start a group buy thread.

What's the difference between the felpro and mopar?

I think if the price is right, the idea would be viable.

Chrysler decided along time ago that graphite was not suitable HG material. Felpro never got the memo.

I talked with PAT on the forum here, who runs 11's on a fel-pro gasket and even sprays on it. Seems perhaps they've fixed whatever was plaguing them? Not sure, but seems just as good to me if it didn't blow on him through that punishment. I mean, Gary D's site, although great for a beginner and general knowledge, is fairly out-dated on several things now. Like I said perhaps fel-pro has fixed whatever the problem was. Then again, PAT takes particular care of his cars and how they're put together, and always watches his A/F like a hawk.
