What year and engine is the cam for? Casting # ?

Came for a 91+ sundance 5spd . I was told all the tbi 88+ cams are the same. Rockauto has only 1 part # for all those cams in tbi n/a. Only numbers on it are L-4 7849 085

Not true. The '88 had the best factory profile and should be degree'd at 122 for optimum results. Any aftermarket or Chrysler replacement cam is a generic "universal" version that is profiled to work in both turbo or TBI applications. It is far from ideal for any performance application.

We had the '88 TBI cam reproduced recently and are just checking for hardness. They will be up on our site once all testing has been completed.
