Wiper blade issue

I just put new wiper blades on my 86 Daytona and they hit the hood and don't hide away. I tried grinding them down but can't cut any more and they still hit. Any suggestions?

I use mono-blades with no clearance issues (rain-x in particular - the bosch tend to streak).

Hmmm, I bought Bosch. I'll look at the rain-x I had good luck with them on my Van.
