40+ people looked at this and zero comments........ what do you guys do at these SDAC events, meets, or on a daily basis with your cars, I am starting to think this sight is way too boring.....

(edited) I guess this section gets so little action I completely ignore it. Nobody drives their car.
Don't have time to finish watching yet but it would appear that one owner has too much money and owns a ridiculous limo truck and I wonder if I have seen that grey dsm oil down the Strip in Vegas because he wanted to run again after that long drive and didn't care about his stretched head studs. Probably a million dsm's up there :P


I don't see "cash days" going down in most neighborhoods. Its not feasible.

yes the limo truck guys has too much money and not really a fast car, There are alot of DSM's here, all of the ones in the video have been in the 9's here.

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed watching. Nothing really to add! Can't wait to hear about your FWD match ups!! BTW that featherweight shadow is one of my fave cars EVAR.

Looks like the Vega gets taken off the jump a couple times but the 330 on that thing.. wow. Goes to show you a chassis tuned to hook up can trump mega-power and light-weight.

Im taking alot more weight out of the shadow and a different engine combo, hope to be running mid 6's in the 1/8th this year, that should make it real competitive

the first one had cars from kansas and Wyoming, trying to keep it at 16 cars, easier to control, very hard to keep the spot a secret. we were there from 9 pm till 330 am

Finished. Too bad the DSM and the mustang broke. Sounded more like spark blowout on the mustang or it was leaning out hard. Car won't build boost then. DSM would have been a good race against the Vega if it could go more then 2 passes.

Those GM's would be lucky to go rounds vs anyone with the way they forget to leave. Almost as if I was driving. :P

There's no way that one F-body claiming 1500hp is making anywhere near that number!

One thing i liked about this video was that people were managing to do their burnouts without having a bunch of idiots hanging off their cars waiting for a slick to pop and take their legs off. :p

Well I clearly saw that the "1500hp" F body pulled hard on the 9.2 second "850hp" F body. 98mm + 370ci with the wrong torque converter and no spray in 1/8th mile won't get you much on an 850hp car until the top end.

Hope nobody brought an n/a car from low elevation and hoped to compete.

Kinda wondering if that Vega was using traction control from some of the weird sounds I heard.

I am not a big fan of either of them, however I have know the vega owner forever, no traction control, the first pass against the tow rig(owner blew up his car testing, he is from Kansas)we deleted the intercooler and installed a meth kit, it gave it a big nose full sitting on the trans brake, it sputtered for a while then cleared up, we turned up the low setting higher than the boost it makes on the brake, it cured the problem.
