I am restoring my '87 GLHS to factory and I need the entire air box assembly including all of the original hoses. I can't stress enough that I need the original parts. If anyone can help me with this please send me a P.M.

Do you need the original parts? :) Just kidding. Let me see what I have from mine. Never going to build it back to stock. There are a lot of people on here, so you will more than likely find some good quality pieces, but I'll check and see what I have.

Hey anything on the air box parts?

Amazingly, I have the entire box and none if it seems to be broken. Need to clean it up, but the only thing missing are two clips, everything else is there. I have the lower hose to the turbo and both upper hoses from the IC to the TB. I even have the rubber grommets and both studs off the back of the box are good, unbroken from what I could tell. I am amazed I have all the pieces! I'll get some pics up shortly.

Just saw your post with your number. I'll send you a text later. Had things going on this weekend and all. And I still need to clean up the pieces just to make sure there aren't any issues.

Cleaning the parts up, but I saw (again) where the previous owner used some sort of epoxy to fix something, unknown what. There is a long strip of it and a small amount on the inside. Neither shows any cracks or damages, but the outside area has a recessed place on it, assuming the box had a hole in it, possibly. Cleaning the parts now, I'll post some pics once they are finished.

Here are the pics. Ignore the water line going down the side where the epoxy is. There are a couple of pics of inside the box where a crack seems to be? The crack is the epoxy (I think only the epoxy) probably from being in the washer. Personally I would strip all the crap off as best as possible and see what is really under there. I would not be surprised if it's not nearly as bad as the amount of epoxy was used. Regardless, there are better ways to fix this stuff and he probably just did what was typical at the time it was done.

$80 shipped for everything in the pic. The one rubber grommet that is attached to the airbox is torn, so you'd need one of those and two more of the metal clamps for a complete set. Thankfully these are common to all the cars up to probably 90-92? And the rubber hose going from the turbo to the airbox (the big one in the last picture) rubs off black very easily. I think it's the rubber and just how it is, seems they have all done this that I have had. It's been in a box for years, so it's not from anything being on it.

Let me know if you want it, it will come with all the items in the pics.

Yea I want it. Do you have the other hose that goes to the tb? I only saw the hose to the turbo and the one from the intercooler.

Always leave it open until it's completed. And consider starting a build thread to keep track and show what's going on with it. I'd personally like to see some pics when you can.
